In the years 1987 to 1993, Prof. René Jeanneret laid the fundament of our highly efficient permanent magnet motor technology with the , which successfully participated at the . From 1996, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Andrea Vezzini, projects such as the development of the electric glider Antares (lange-aviation) and the Spirit of Bike (e-bike) continued this tradition of innovation. International Water Day has been celebrated on March 22 each year since 1993.
The aim is to draw attention to the importance of water for our lives. Every year, the day of remembrance is given a special motto. This year, the theme of the day is "The value of water". We in Switzerland hardly know how to appreciate the value of water, since water is generally always available in sufficient quantities and, just as importantly, we have enough clean water.
However, this is not the case in many other countries. There, care must be taken not to waste water unnecessarily in order to have enough for irrigation, livestock, household and sanitation.
Together with our distribution partners, we have therefore set ourselves the goal of achieving SDG 6 by encouraging farmers to stop using diesel pumps and switch to sufficiently efficient solar water pumps. In this way, three successes can be celebrated at once: No water wastage due to flooding technology, no daily costly expenses, and CO2 reduction.

Wonderful installation example from our distributor from Malawi (Equipment & Parts Supplier, Lilongwe). The suction hose is optimally positioned in the water, so that no mud is sucked in. The solar panel is not affected by any shadow. Note also the performance of the pump despite a rather small panel and cloudy weather!
