At the Singapore Education Lounge on 23 September, educators and learning leaders from schools, universities, training providers, and edtech companies came together to talk about the skills that connect education and work.

Organized by Singapore Education Network and hosted at our Singapore office, the panel featured Chor Meng Tan of Wiley, Claudine Fernandez of Academy Prêt, and our own Wan Fareed, with Alex Boome of Hinrich Foundation moderating.

Constructor Practice Science Labs has been shortlisted for the Immersive Experiential Learning Award at the 2026 QS Reimagine Education Awards.

This year's shortlist was selected from more than 2,200 submitted projects, and we're proud to be part of it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Future Ready IB Schools Summit in Istanbul on 3 October 2026.

School leaders and teachers spent the day on one question: how can digital tools support teaching without taking the teacher's place? As Pascal Ashkar put it on stage, "AI would never be able to replace a teacher."

The day brought together:
- Talks from Gürcan Demirci, Pascal Ashkar, and Seden Chouseinoglou
- A panel with Dr. Frazer Cairns, Seden Chouseinoglou, and Dr. Michel A. Khoury of Eastwood Global School, who joined online
- A masterclass where teachers practiced experiments in virtual science labs before taking them into the real lab
