Ad Faasse, a seasoned manager, sharing his take-aways of the ICF-CCE APPROVED Team Coaching Training by Being at Full Potential for (in-house) coaches, leaders/managers and HR professionals that again will run 23-27 November 2020 and between 17-23 March 2021.
In his words:
*This team training gives good insights and tools to really understand the dynamics of a team. The Being at Full Potential system brings an awareness on an individual as well as on a team level. It distinguishes in a kind of mutual coherence many aspects that are important in managing a team. It is about: Is there enough space to play? How to infuse openness? How do they collaborate? What is the connection with the Greater Good and how do they really support each other to make it a better team?
*It also made him richer in terms of who he is as a leader: which buttons to switch in his own behaviour related to the team and for the team to switch buttons in how to intervene or how to improve their team performance, underlining the value for every leader and manager to really getting this into their own system.

This evening at 19.00 h, Annelieke Verkerk, Jeroen van Weeghel Claudia Milardo and Harmen van Dijk will host this interactive webinar to explore the 'Opportunity Seeking' mindset in Teams in more detail.

The more I reflect on this so called Team Measure, the more I see that having a positive mindset only is not enough to truly embody this attitude in a team. If it would only be about changing the glasses through which one looks at things, Opportunity Seeking would merely be the flipside of the same 'Problem Solving Coin'.

For me embodying the Opportunity Seeking' attitude, definitely involves taking some time to slow down to reflect on what is actually happening and what the situation at hand is telling me/us. It is also about being brave enough to let go of the path we are on and consciously choose a new, sometime uncharted course. The true Inventiveness of a team is ultimately measured in the way a team has succeeded in building a solid and dependable foundation in which each member of the team can fully display his Full Potential.
