☀️ Recap from our Summer Celebration ☀️

Last Friday, we got together to celebrate the end of summer with delicious food from the grill, refreshing drinks and plenty of smiling faces (as you can see 😊).

At the Waldhütte Stockenholz in Eschlikon, we enjoyed a relaxed evening together outside of our usual work setting 🌳🍃

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so funny & enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next get-together!

👋 Welcome to STS, Aleksandar Malinovic! 👋

We are happy to welcome Aleksandar as our new Quality Specialist at STS.

At STS, he will be responsible for incoming goods inspection. Through his careful work, he helps ensure the consistent quality of our materials and contributes to smooth and reliable production processes.

Aleksandar brings experience from various areas. After completing his vocational training in production, he worked in production planning and quality management before taking on a position as a department manager.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about football ⚽

The STS team visited the Limmern pumped-storage power plant in Linthal ⚡

During the guided tour, we gained interesting insights into one of Switzerland’s major energy infrastructure projects and had the opportunity to see impressive engineering on a very different scale.

A few facts about the power plant that stood out to us:
• The plant has a pumping and turbine capacity of 1,000 MW, acting as a large-scale energy storage system in the Swiss Alps
• Water can be pumped from Lake Limmern back up to Lake Mutt, which is around 630 metres higher
• The Muttsee dam is 1,054 metres long, making it the longest dam in Switzerland and, at around 2,500 metres above sea level, the highest-altitude dam in Europe 🏔️

Besides the technical aspects, the visit was also a good opportunity to spend time together outside the usual work environment and connect across departments 🤝

We don't use the rocket emoji very often, but when your customer is building launch vehicles, it feels justified 🚀

We had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Latitude to our HQ in Sirnach, Switzerland.

The visit provided a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing projects and gain insights into our manufacturing and testing capabilities.
