After a few snake sightings around our South African plant in Rosslyn, 10 colleagues volunteered for practical ๐ฌ๐ง๐š๐ค๐ž ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  to learn how to respond safely and calmly in case of future encounters. The team learned how to identify venomous snakes, respond to bites, and safely handle species commonly found in the area.

A big thank you to our colleagues for stepping forward and demonstrating how awareness and bravery help create a ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ž. On this International Day of Families, we are reminded that families and communities play an important role in providing support, stability, and care, especially during challenging times.

Throughout the year, Autoneum teams around the world take part in activities that support their local communities. One recent example took place in Setรบbal, Portugal, where colleagues donated food and prepared meals over the course of two days. A total of 145 three-course meals were distributed to the community.

The effort supported CASA - Centro de Apoio ao Sem Abrigo, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness, families at risk, and disadvantaged communities through social solidarity initiatives.

Thank you to all colleagues in Portugal who dedicated their time to this important cause.
