Join us on 31 March for a live performance by Seçil Metin.

Doors: 20:30
Start: 21:30

Seçil Metin is a vocalist, improviser, composer, and sound designer. In this performance, she presents Mono No Aware, a live improvisation project where her sound design sketches, trumpet, voice, and electronics shape the music as it happens, moving between quiet, subtle, intimate moments and sudden bursts of energy and raw feeling.

She is exploring what’s possible in the depth of “less,”... this time embracing the vulnerability of being alone on stage, while mindless and heartful improvisation guides the experience. She hopes the performance to create a shared space held with presence, curiosity, deep listening, and simply the warmth of being together.

Sound artist Flora Yin-Wong (London) creates immersive sonic environments using rudimentary field recordings, granular synthesis and traditional instruments, shaped by subtle influences from club culture. Her work explores philosophical and psychological themes such as faith, obsession and ritual. Her albums Holy Palm and Cold Reading were released on Modern Love, alongside works on labels including PAN, Tectonic, Nyege Nyege and Shelter Press / GRM Paris. She has performed internationally at institutions such as Palais de Tokyo, Fondation Beyeler, Somerset House, The V&A, Volksbühne Berlin, and Shedhalle Zurich.

We are very happy to welcome Sugai Ken to MigrArt on 7 March for a special live performance.

Sugai Ken is a Japanese electronic musician and sound artist whose work explores the quiet beauty of subtle sound. Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of shibui, simplicity, depth, and understated elegance, he transforms fragments of everyday life into immersive sonic landscapes. Using field recordings, reconstructed natural textures, and carefully shaped electronic sound, his music moves between organic memory and contemporary experimentation.

Internationally recognized for releases such as UkabazUmorezU and his work with EM Records, Sugai Ken has performed across Europe at venues including Cafe OTO and Berghain, building a devoted global audience within the experimental music community.

Join us for an evening of deep listening, atmosphere, and quiet intensity.

.We are looking for a new home ‼️

Since 2019, we have been building MigrArt together
a space for making, rehearsing, listening, learning, meeting and resisting!

Our current home in Manegg will be demolished in June 2026.

MigrArt is not just a venue.
It is a working space.
A meeting point.
A network which built over years through trust, care, and collective effort.

Our work is not ending.
But to continue, we need a new space.

We are looking for a place in Zurich, temporary or long-term,
where rehearsals, workshops, productions, and small public moments can continue.
A simple infrastructure: electricity, water, heating.
A place where culture can keep breathing.

Regarding this matter, we have written a letter to various city departments and the Canton of Zurich, More information and details about our work and needs can be found on our website.

You can support us by:
• Sharing this post
• Connecting us to available spaces or contacts
• Opening doors to conversations with institutions, property owners, or decision-makers

We are here.
Our work continues.
Now we need a place to continue it.
