My favourite way to prioritize my task list is to:
- Break down tasks into smaller subtasks; daily, weekly, monthly
- Assign a high, medium or low priority
- Sort by due today, tomorrow & upcoming
- Mark complete when done

SOPs - Standard Operating Procedures are incredibly important for any business and here are some reasons why:

- Consistency: SOPs ensure tasks are carried out consistently from person to person to maintain a high quality output.

- Reduce errors: because a SOP is documented and the person follows the exact instructions, this greatly reduces the chance of errors when carrying out a specific task.

- Communication: SOPs not only save time with staff training and updates, they provide the method to communicate the process changes to employees.

An Online Business Managers (OBM) role is to lead the daily operations of a digital business, freeing up the owners time.

They do this by making sure that the right things get done at the right time, by the right people in the right way.

Typically, an OBM leads in the following areas:
* Project Management
* Operations Management
* Metric Management
* People Management

About me! By nationality I'm a New Zealander but I currently live in beautiful Zurich, Switzerland - so I'm both a beach & mountain girl. I was fortunate to work many years in the language travel industry with so many amazing and passionate colleagues & clients, this was also where I truly learnt and came to love content marketing. Mind you, it was not hard when the content was all about learning a language & travelling the world!

I've worked 10+ years in digital marketing and my work passions are digital project management and website & blog strategy.
Since the world has changed dramatically and currently there is not a lot of international language travel, I'm now looking forward to working with entrepreneurs in new industries to support them in their journey.

I'm so excited to have started my Online Business journey, and right now, it feels like perfect timing! Many online business owners would love to grow their business successfully but are spending too much time working in the business instead of on the business. My goal is to help entrepreneurs lead their growth with Project, Operations and Marketing management so they can focus on developing their product or service to consistently deliver a high quality offering.
