Big thanks to the Team for organising the , which took place last Friday. 🥳🫶🏽✨
Thanks also to everyone who attended and participated in our workshops. I had a stand displaying my handweaved clothing line complimented by handmade shoes of the line and a Workshop in collaboration with . Together we are developping the research for the first project N1: what impact can have traditional arts on social integration. We are starting with textile arts and the weaving frames are our first tools.
Together with the participants we could experience the action of weaving and how easier it is to start the dialog, having more openness and conecting to souvenirs from our childhood and moments we learned weaving or crafting.

RE-WEAVING STORIES: Fäden verbinden zwischen Zürich und dem peruanischen Amazonas und nordischen Anden. ✨
Morgen ist es so weit! Wir laden dich zu einem ganz besonderen Nachmittag/Abend im Treffpunkt Enge ein, an dem Geschichten, Kultur und das Weben zusammenkommen.
🇵🇪 🌿 Teil 1: Gemeinsam mit dem Verein EDA Yurimaguas EDA Amazonia präsentieren wir die wichtige Arbeit zur sozialen Wirkung und zum Naturschutz, die sie in Peru leisten. Wir zeigen auf, wie dies mit unserem Projekt zur Kulturerhaltung und dem Thema "silent knowledge" (stilles Wissen) verknüpft ist.
🧵 🔨 Teil 2: Danach werden wir selbst aktiv! Es folgt unser Workshop-Format "Weaved Stories" (ähnlich wie damals im Impact Hub). Bring ein getragenes Kleidungsstück mit, das einen emotionalen Wert für dich hat: Wir verwandeln es in Stoffstreifen, und du lernst, es auf unseren modularen Webstühlen zu verweben. So schenken wir ihm ein neues Leben und weben eine gemeinsame Geschichte.

It's happening today! ✨ The Open Hub Day at opens it's doors to the public. Come and meet the thinkers and makers behind a variety of businesses and projects aim to bring more sustainability into business and society.
I will be having a stall with some pieces of my handweaved line as well handmade accessories and besides that i am providing a weaving workshop as part of a research phase of the "Cultural Weaving Initiative". Together we are exploring how traditional practices can have an impact in social integration. It's more about storytelling than lersning to weave and it's fun.
Bring a piece of clothing or use the textile stripes we will have in place for you. Afterwards I will sew the pieces together to one map of our weaved stories.

There will be many other workshops on diferent topics during the day. The event is complimented with music, DJ and you can anytime make a break at

Last Saturday we celebrated the launch of Diana s brand and project. Karmi is was born out of Dianas aim to supporting women, building a comunnity where women take space and dont fear to stand in the spotlight. This community is complemented by a sculptural and handmade jewellery line. I personally like her concept and looks a lot. Thank you for your trust and collaboration! 🫶🏽✨

A huge thank you to everyone who made the DIY Night Market at Restaurant Ziegel Oh Lac so special. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks, wonderful conversations, and met so many lovely visitors who appreciated local craftsmanship.
A massive thank you to the organising team for the fantastic collaboration and for bringing us all together. And a special shout-out to my amazing booth neighbours—it was a pleasure sharing the space with you! 🤝✨

Visit me at my stand and enjoy a night at the lake. In case of rain the market takes place inside.
There will live music, DJs and many other participants offering unique locally handmade pieces.
I will be presenting my handweaved clothing line , alpaca baby-hair Ruanas, beatutiful handmade shoes by and summer accessories.
