🚂 I have to correct myself: I always say Swiss trains are great for working. But in this case, taking out the laptop would have just felt wrong.

On the way to Christian Schmitt and Jan Vogler at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, I felt like a tourist in my own country. Finally discovered Rougemont and its church. And it was wonderful to see old and new faces, and to have many conversations!

Liszt’s Fantasy for cimbalom and orchestra is something else. The perfect piece to make an audience fall in love with an instrument they’ve never probably heard before. So happy to see Jenő Lisztes and Jonathan Bloxham back together — this time with the NWD Philharmonie.
