The BLOOM Cohort kicked off this morning with a special homemade brunch at my home. 🌸

Why at my home, you might ask?

Because I wanted the women who said yes to this 4-month journey to experience something I believe makes all the difference between simply getting through life and truly living it — a sense of belonging.

Each woman was welcomed as if this were her own home — with a warm hug, a big smile, a healthy home-cooked meal, and the chance to share where she is in her life right now.

It was such a beautiful morning. 🥰

I feel truly honoured that each of these wonderful women has placed her trust in me and in this circle.

The diversity of backgrounds, stories, and experiences already feels so special — and I’m incredibly excited to see how things unfold over the coming months. 💛

Happy Friday and tell me below - how do you welcome guests into your home 🏠?

💌 What if love looked like this?

Valentine’s Day gets a lot of attention for romantic love.

But can we talk about another kind?

The kind where you sit at a table and don’t feel like you have to prove anything.

The kind where someone remembers your story.

The kind where you can exhale.

That’s belonging.

And honestly? Choosing spaces where you feel that way might be one of the deepest forms of self-love.

This is what the Bloom Cohort is about — intentional gatherings designed for real connection, not networking or performance.

Only 5 spots left...!

If you’re craving depth, kindness, and human spaces that feel like home… this might be your invitation.

After 10 years of community gatherings, café conversations, and creative circles, I’m ready to create a simpler, deeper way for women to connect — one that feels intentional, joyful, and easy to be part of.

Introducing The Bloom Cohort 🌷 — a 4-month Happy Hub experience for multi-passionate women who crave genuine connection, shared learning, and a space to just be yourself.

It’s not another networking group or self-improvement course.

It’s a social mastermind — a space to grow, connect, and rediscover yourself in the company of like-hearted women.

Here’s what you can expect:

🗓️ 4 months of connection & inspiration (6 March – 26 June with 2 week break in April)

🌱 Monthly topics that matter, including transitions, creativity, mind & body reset, growth...and likely a few surprise topics based on group needs

🫶 In-person gatherings — from discovering more of Zürich’s hidden gems to forest walks and brunches, creative activities and even a couple surprise events to keep things interesting

✍️ Co-creating opportunities online and in person each month to make space for things that matter (projects, writing, creativitiy)

💬 A private WhatsApp space to share, inspire one another and stay connected

This is for women living in the Zurich area who want to:

- focus on authentic relationships, not outcomes
- savour moments of joy, curiosity and deep friendship
- explore topics that spark growth or just plain happiness
-cheer one another on and grow together

No overwhelm. No pressure. Just a rhythm of belonging and joy.

Spots are limited to 12 women for this first cohort — small enough to feel close, big enough to bring magic.

Doors to join will close on 27 February.

If your heart has been craving deeper connection and a space to simply be, this is for you.

Some of us just weren’t made to fit into one neat box — and honestly? Thank goodness for that. 😅

We’re creators, dreamers, builders, cooks, community-makers, learners, and idea-sparklers all at once.

That’s not a flaw. It’s where the magic lives.

Being multi-passionate doesn’t mean you’re scattered.

It means you’re curious. Creative. Alive!

It means you see connections others don’t.

You bring depth, joy, and fresh ideas into everything you touch.

From community gatherings to creative projects, wellness journeys to dreams quietly growing in your heart — every passion you carry is part of who you’re becoming.

So if you’ve ever felt “too much”…
Too interested in too many things…
Or unsure which dream to follow first —

This is your reminder 💖

You’re not behind.
You’re not confused.
You’re multi-passionate.

And that’s a gift. ✨

My 2026 started slowly...with surgery to repair a torn bicep tendon in my dominant arm 🥴.

Not a hard surgery… but WOW, healing requires patience. I didn’t expect the helplessness + boredom that comes with losing use of a body part (and a pretty significant body part!).

But here are 5 simple lessons I’d like to share with you from my month of moving slower:

🫶 Having patience with yourself can be HARD. Accept the kindness offered by friends and family!

✍️ Creativity improves with daily practice. I’ve been doing a 30 days of sketching course with and it has been so much fun (also doing some lessons with my left hand to boost my brain cells 🧠)

☕ Coffee and sunshine always help (especially when the coffee is from BrewTender 😉)

🩷 Slow mornings with friends to celebrate birthdays or just catch up after the busyness of 2025 fills the soul (and helps to get you out of the house!)

💡 Ideas and visions bloom in the absence of noise and chaos...sign up for my newsletter in the link above to be the first to know what’s coming in the next few weeks.

A quick summary: giving yourself space for healing, creating meaningful connections and learning something you love is worth every second of time you take to do these things.

Make it a priority in your busy calendar to create a “slow down time” and see what happens in your life!

What are you prioritizing for yourself right now? Let me know 👇

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how much can shift when you finally slow down and make space to see what’s already in front of you.

Top 10 things I’ve learned by slowing down:

1. Reading 793 books in three months definitely counts as self-care — even if the laundry piles up and the family keeps saying, “She’s got another book…” 📚

2. Sunshine is always a sign that good days are coming. ☀️

3. Walks with friends — whether along the lake or through the woods — lead to the best, most heartfelt conversations. 🌿

4. Clearing out things you’ve held onto for way too long creates the most incredible feeling of space (and freedom).

5. Abundance begins with gratitude. Write down the little things you receive and watch how the blessings start to multiply. ✨

6. Sharing good food made with love brings joy to everyone around the table. 🍲

7. Taking time to do fun things together strengthens every relationship — especially when musicals and Tay-Tay songs are involved. 🎶💃🏻

8. Creativity clears away the cobwebs that build up after years of go-go-go without pausing for yourself. 🎨

9. Life is constantly changing — and there’s beauty in embracing the transitions instead of resisting them. 🌸

10. Listen to your body. It will always tell you when it’s time to rest and realign. 💛

Slowing down has reminded me that gratitude, connection, and presence aren’t luxuries — they’re the foundation for a life that feels full and abundant.

Here’s to noticing the little things, celebrating the good, and trusting that the best moments often happen when we simply make space for them. 🌿

What are you doing to slow down in the craziness of the holiday season?

(a big thank you to my longest friend in Switzerland, Barb , who always inspires me through her laughter, creativity and joyful outlook 😊)

New season, new me! 🌸🌱

I think it’s time to (re)introduce myself — not just because the seasons are changing, but because I am too.

Hi, I’m Julie 👋🏼

📚 Avid bookworm — I’ve read more books this past month than I care to admit...

🌿 Gardener and proud w**d puller — if you’ve got a green thumb and want to get your hands dirty, DM me!

🥖 Amateur sourdough baker — branching out soon beyond just bread (wish me luck!)

🐾 Mom to one sweet doggie and two incredible young adults

💪🏼 Embracing mid-life with a healthy mindset, nourishing meals, and energizing workouts (bonus points if they include doggie walks and great company!)

This season feels like a fresh chapter — and I’m so happy to be here in it after a short pause.

Now tell me — what season of life are you in right now? Let’s chat in the comments! 🌼

If you want to meet and chat in person, join me on

A HAPPY HELLO!

OUR HAPPY PLACE is a creative space located in Thalwil, Switzerland to learn new skills, celebrate a birthday or special event or just meet up for coffee and chat about a current project you are working on or need help with!

Julie & Sandra help you make fun, hands-on projects in a simple and interactive way. They don’t want to hear anyone say “Oh, I can’t do that! I’m not creative...”! WRONG!!! We do all the preparation and give you guidance on how to make the project your own...and, of course, copying is totally allowed!

Check out our website at www.ourhappyplace.ch for more information on upcoming workshops, how to book a party (for kiddos and the ladies) and how to find us! We look forward to meeting you at OUR HAPPY PLACE!
