CO₂-Luftqualitätsmessungen in Schweizer Schulzimmern

In Schweizer Schulzimmern herrscht oft dicke Luft. Studien weisen einen klaren Zusammenhang zwischen der Raumluftqualität, der Raumtemperatur und der Leistungsfähigkeit der Schüler nach.

Emch+Berger ImmoConsult AG hat von der Immobilienabteilung einer Kantonsstadt den Auftrag erhalten, die Situation der CO₂-Konzentration in einzelnen Schulhäusern zu messen und zu analysieren. Avelon durfte das Projekt tatkräftig unterstützen. Die insgesamt einundzwanzig Wisely CarbonSense konnten an einem Tag montiert und in Betrieb genommen werden. Seither werden die Messungen in der Avelon Cloud aufgezeichnet.

Der Betreiber der Schulhäuser hat über den Webbrowser jederzeit Zugriff auf die Daten in der Avelon Cloud.

𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘀

With seven locations (plus one in planning), the Valens Clinics are the largest rehabilitation provider in Switzerland. At the main location in Valens they have fully relied on Avelon solutions and plan a common, centrally controlled energy data controlling for all locations.

Ivan Garcia Garcia, team leader of the technical services department on the project: "LoRaWAN plays a very important role here, as the campus is not fully connected. With LoRaWAN we can overcome the sometimes long distances between the numerous external buildings and collect the data automatically. In the past we had to laboriously read it out manually."

Avelon has launched the latest Avelon Cloud version 7.13. Main focus was put on the following improvements and new features:

• Revised and simplified schematics and shape designer
• Write access to the schematics can be restricted for certain user groups
• System diagrams with data points that are out of operation are now marked with a corresponding symbol
• Improved visualization of collective alarms

The new thermal monitoring from Avelon

Energy demand, control quality, temperature monitoring ‒ ThermoSense delivers. You can either use it to measure flow and return temperatures depending on the outside temperature, which say a lot about the energy consumption, or you simply use it for reliable temperature monitoring, for example in your cold chain.

Protection measures and business continuity at Avelon.
The health of our employees and our customers is of course our top priority. Therefore we recommend our employees to work from home.

Of course, we will continue to ensure that our system-critical services are continued without interruption. For our clients, this demonstrates the advantages of our SaaS solutions, which require little or no on-site support from internal staff.

We are technically and organisationally ready to switch to home office for the majority of our employees without having to make any concessions in customer service.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our measures accordingly.

The 15th Schweizer Planertag took place on 10 March. Numerous speakers came to Brugg to inform about energy efficiency and climate targets. Most of them agreed: Switzerland is on the right track, but there is still a lot to do.

Here's a great article about the Planertag 2020. Although the conference was not booked up to the last place due to the special situation, we still had many very good conversations with colleagues and other and IoT-afficionados.
