Netflix’s very own show about the Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch does a great job portraying the common issues across the board of DEI. “It’s an incredible tough place to be that we put marginalized people in all the time - and we say “okay, fix all the problems”.”
Former and first D&I CDO Todd Corley had to figure out how to turn around A&F in 2004 and create a D&I strategy and vision for the company. During his time at A&F the diversity population increased over 40%, therefore he successfully created the first stepping stone towards the right direction for the brand.
