Woke up this morning and did what I need it to do, it took extra steps and determination. When for a walk.
We are so lucky to be alive, to be able to recognize beauty, to want to protect what gives us happiness, joy, inspiration, admiration, love and empathy.
Trying to help others is the most natural, generous, difficult and challenging task ever. As woman, could we ever turn that switch off…
And in a country where woman are not yet recognized as leaders, or protected from discrimination, or protected from sexual assault and violence, I, as a woman, can still recognize that we have come far from what our mothers and grandmothers had to endure. We are fighting the fight that our ancestors started, we cant’t give up.
I invite you to start with me a journey, a journey where in between us ladies, grandmothers and mothers, friends, daughters, sisters we look at the world of politics with our female vision. With our feelings, with our hearts, with our thoughts, with our compassion, with our feminine instincts. With our eyes.
We must continue to protect each other, we must recognize the truth, the struggle, the pain. We are not alone anymore, we have many amazing gentlemen in our lives that do support us.
And with all that has transpired, the world is a wonderful place, most of us have wonderful friends, wonderful families, and we are surrounded by wonder and beauty. Let’s not forget how lucky we are. Let’s fight and protect what we love, we don’t need any permission to do so.
