It was an honor for WIFIG to participate in the African Union Summit on Industrialization and Economic Diversification convened under the theme: Industrializing Africa: Renewed commitment towards an inclusive and sustainable Industrialization and Economic Diversification.
This Summit was convened as part of the African Industrialization week annual commemorative activities. This activity provides an opportunity for key stakeholders to reflect on Africa's Industrialization by looking at how the continent can change its status-quo, accelerate action towards Africa structural transformation, and as an enabler to meet the objectives of the SDGs.
it was a wider platform to Network with other entrepreneurs from Africa, share strategies and way forward to improve Africa Economic development, Trade and industry beginning from our little corners

As we look forward to our end of year round table slated for the 27th and 28th of this month. It will be a time of appraisal, restrategizing, and looking forward to another mile stone in our development journey. On Sunday 8th of March, WIfIG in partnership with CIfA(Community Impact for Africa-CIfA) carried out a special outreach program to the Good Shephard home orphanage at Abangoh-Bamenda. The goal for this activity was to encourage these children and remind them of the love of Christ. These children are a huge part of our community and the generation to come, making them feel loved and important is vital and this ties to one of our objective as an organization which is "To promote peace among women and youths and also provide psychosocial support.

This orphanage home has a capacity of over 100 children, ranging between 8months to above 18yrs of age.

our visit was characterized by games, singing, dancing ,prayers among other things. The day ended with fun and all smiles.

In our effort to Impact our community, thereby making it a better place, we will be doing an orphanage visit in partnership with Community Impact for Africa-CIfA. We will be helping them out with basic commodities like rice, savon, groundnut oil,omo, pad etc.

Today we join the rest of the world to celebrate the International Women's Day under the theme "Gender Equality today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.
Women have always been know for thier Resilience as girls, women and mothers and in regards to ever sphere of life. We stand today to say No to bias and the break the silence. No to discrimination, laws and roles that continue to infringe on women's rights.
We stand today to promote and applaud our efforts no matter how small across the political, social and the economic spheres. Promoting Gender Equality is promoting sustainable development and understanding women have something to "Add" is vital to every succeeding economy.
