1. Smooth Before You Sit Before lowering yourself on the chair:
Smooth the fabric of your dress
Make sure the train is arranged behind you properly (your MOH can assist with this
Never just collapse into the chair.

2. Sit on the edge of the chair first
Lower yourself slowly onto the front half of the seat.
Then adjust back slightly. This keeps:
Your posture upright
The corset structured / The fabric neat

3. For Ball gowns
Fluff-your dress around your hips once seated.
Let your assistant help you spread the skirt of your dress evenly. This prevents:
X Bulk under you
X Uneven folds

4. Classic bridal pose for sitting
Knees Together, Ankles Slightly Tilted
