A SILENT REVIVAL IS UNFOLDING — AND IT’S NOT HAPPENING WHERE MOST PEOPLE EXPECT🙏

Away from packed auditoriums, livestreams, and Western headlines, a quiet shift is taking place across parts of the Middle East. In Iran, where Christianity once existed only in tiny numbers after the 1979 revolution, reports from researchers and religious scholars suggest the underground church has expanded dramatically over the past decades, with estimates now reaching into the hundreds of thousands or even more. What’s striking is not just the growth, but the conditions: gatherings in homes, whispered conversations, and faith practiced without visibility or institutional support.

In Afghanistan, often described as one of the most dangerous environments in the world for Christians, there are ongoing accounts of individuals privately embracing the faith despite severe social and legal risks. Even in Saudi Arabia, where conversion from Islam is officially prohibited, scattered testimonies continue to surface of people exploring Christianity in secret, often without access to churches or public communities.

Many of these stories share a similar pattern. New believers frequently describe dreams, personal encounters, or moments of deep spiritual searching that lead them to the message of Jesus — sometimes without ever meeting a missionary or holding a Bible beforehand. Whether one interprets these accounts through a spiritual lens or a sociological one, the trend is difficult to ignore. In places where open conversion seems nearly impossible, interest in Christianity appears to be growing quietly. The real question isn’t whether something is happening, but what forces — cultural, personal, or spiritual — are driving it now.

The CBC Health Services joins the international community to celebrate World AIDS DAY under the theme “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response”.

AIDS is not over!!!
The funding gap for the HIV response is widening.

So,
Everyone is encouraged to participate in the fight to stop HIV transmission and encourage people living with HIV to adher to medication.

Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) is a drug everyone can take to prevent HIV. This must be taken within 72hrs of exposure.

Together we can end transmission to babies born from HIV positive mothers. Encourage every pregnant woman to attend ANC and breastfeeding mothers to get tested.

Test and stay safe.

We decry Stigma and Discrimination towards persons living with HIV and will continue to support communities to strengthen the HIV/AIDS response.

Les services de santé de la CBC se joignent à la communauté internationale pour célébrer la Journée mondiale de lutte contre le sida sous le thème « Surmonter les perturbations, transformer la riposte au sida ».

Le déficit de financement pour la riposte au VIH se creuse.

C'est pourquoi
tout le monde est encouragé à participer à la lutte pour mettre fin à la transmission du VIH et à encourager les personnes vivant avec le VIH à suivre leur traitement.

La prophylaxie post-exposition (PPE) est un médicament que tout le monde peut prendre pour prévenir le VIH. Il doit être pris dans les 72 heures suivant l'exposition.

Ensemble, nous pouvons mettre fin à la transmission du VIH aux bébés nés de mères séropositives. Encouragez toutes les femmes enceintes à se rendre aux consultations prénatales et les mères qui allaitent à se faire dépister.

Nous dénonçons la stigmatisation et la discrimination à l'égard des personnes vivant avec le VIH et continuerons à soutenir les communautés afin de renforcer la lutte contre le VIH/sida.
