Aretha Obenson-MakiaSpaco LeeYesterday, 7th October 2026, history was made in Buea, over 1000 people came out massively to launch the Keep Buea Clean / Clean City Buea on the Move initiative.
The Divisional Officer (D.O), Mayors, and other key stakeholders were present to launch this beautiful initiative which GeoEnvi Tech Cameroon has been championing for a long time.
We were on the ground to clean, sort, and transport waste to appropriate places for recycling and proper disposal.
Our team worked at Bonduma Gate, where we collected over 1500kg of plastic waste and cleaned the drainage systems to prevent future flooding in the community.
Today, we stand tall as our operational model Clean Buea has been recognized and embraced by stakeholders in Buea, and we hope this initiative will be monetized and sustained in the future for a circular economy.
Together for a Cleaner, Greener Buea.
