I read this post by the BILLIONAIRE MECHANIC Chidomere Ndubuisi & I was humbled.
Read & Learn too.
I told my son to ignore the day and focus on his evenings and early mornings. If he can master these two in the next five years, he will be too smart, too sharp, and too disruptive in the business and problem-solving world.
The day belongs to your boss, your clients, your customers, and your responsibilities. But the time before the world wakes up and after it slows down? That time is yours.
Yes, that's the time your real growth, and your real transformation happens. They happen when others stop moving, when distractions fade away.
When I finished youth service, I started an 8am to 6pm job. That was my survival time, I needed the job, I needed the income to pay my bills.
But I refused to let my future dreams die in the process. So while many people wasted their nights on entertainment, distractions, and unnecessary outings, I did the reverse.
My 6pm to 8am became my building and growing time. Infact, its my war time because of the silent battles happens
After work, while others were relaxing, watching TV, scrolling on their phones or sleeping, I was reading, studying, and strategizing. I was sharpening my skills and working on my ideas. I will always wake up early to think, plan, and execute important things.
I would not let my day job be the only thing that defined my life.
I was living two lives in one. By day, I worked for people and money. By night, I worked for my future and invest in myself.
And that made all the difference.
See, what you do with your nights and early mornings will either make you or destroy you.
I remember telling my son that there are three kinds of people you will find at night and early mornings.
The first are the sleepwalkers, they waste their nights on mindless things that doesn’t grow them. They always waste it on entertainment, social media, and distractions. Their evenings add no value to their future.
The second one are the survivors, these ones do the bare minimum. They relax, rest, and just wait for the next day to start again, repeating the same cycle without real progress.
But the third one, the creators are the ones that use their nights like a weapon. They create, build, they learn, they reflect, they plan, they execute. They treat every evening and morning like their personal university.
And I will always ask my son, which one do you want to be? Because your evening and early morning habits decide your future.
So, if you are young and reading this, let me ask you a serious question:
How are you using your evenings?
How are you spending your early mornings?
Because if you don’t control these hours, you will wake up five years from now in the exact same position you are today.
- If you go to bed without a plan, you wake up confused.
- If you spend your nights watching nonsense, your mornings will be useless.
- If you keep wasting the time meant for personal growth, you will keep wondering why nothing is changing in your life.
But if you flip the switch and start using your nights and mornings wisely,
- You will become sharper, faster, and more disciplined.
- You will start seeing new opportunities everywhere.
- You will separate yourself from the crowd in ways you never imagined.
So, I challenge you today along side with my son for the next five years, master your evenings and mornings. Treat them like gold.
