Courtesy visit to the Fon of Jull by Ntumfon Prof. Victor Waingeh ahead of the Jull Palace Construction Fundraising Relaunch in Yaounde.

Today, 11th July 2026, Ntumfon Prof. Victor Waingeh, the Fon of Kom's Messenger to the USA who doubles as President General of Abasakom Associations of Development Unions (ABADU) paid a courtesy visit to the Fon of Jull, who is currently in Yaounde ahead of the official relaunch of fundraising activities for the Jull Palace Construction Project.

Ntumfon Prof. Victor Waingeh was accompanied by Prince Songbi of the Kom Kingdom and the Coordinator of the College of Jull Notables in Yaounde, Chinda Jong Peter.

The fundraising campaign, which will be officially launched by the Fon (King) of Jull himself, was initiated two years ago by the College of Jull Notables residing in Yaounde. Since its inception, the initiative has made remarkable progress through the generous contributions of sons, daughters, and friends of Jull. One of its notable achievements has been the purchase of a motorcycle to facilitate the Fon's movement and community engagements.

As the project enters its next phase, the focus will be on mobilizing resources to support the renovation and development of the Jull Palace, a symbol of the community's rich cultural heritage and identity.

The Jull Palace, located in Ngunabum, Bum Subdivision, remains a treasured institution whose preservation and development require the collective support of all Jull people across Bum, the World and well-wishers.

Together, let us continue to preserve our heritage, strengthen our unity, and build a lasting legacy for future generations.

Electricity is moving close to Bum. As reported by Diom Caleb Jam, the Ngwah transformer was installed today. This transformer Will supply electricity to Ngwah and Abuh villages up to Muteff.

We also gathered a few months back that there are plans to extend electricity to in and subsequently neighbouring villages.
