Your CV Should Open Doors, Not Keep You Waiting for a Call.
We are in an era of pictures, so many professional events, and so many pictures.
Yet, you will still find many people seeking employment and not getting it!
The same event you go to take pictures at is the same event a CEO goes to seek deals, either with the organisers or the participants. The only difference is that he/she won't indulge in pictures or selfies.
At that point, if you are starting your career, are a mid-career professional, or even a late-career professional, then it's your place to network with just 5 people and ask for their contact details (emails, not phone numbers).
That same day, send them an email appreciating the access granted to you, and then shoot your shot!
Note that these people are busy and often work until late hours, so a brief email is advisable.
What type of CV are you sending?
Your full professional CV if you have less than 5 years of experience.
That means a CV that contains even your academic internships.
Then, clearly state 5 key roles you can serve in his/her company.

✍️ Use Large Language Models (LLMs), especially ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini, to research the possibilities of CEOs attending that event.
✍️ Ask those LLMs to give you 10 companies in your location or region. Then, research all their websites to find the names of their CEOs and Business Managers.
✍️ Now, shortlist the CEOs, Business Managers, or HR professionals who might or would attend that event.
✍️ Update your CV and have it ready in PDF format (not DOCX) on your phone so it can be sent by email. Some of them might ask you to send it immediately at the event so they can review it.
✍️ Prepare pitches based on problems you might have identified within their company and explain how you can be the solution. Alternatively, pitch your past results and explain how they can benefit their company.
✍️ Note that they might not remember your name after the event, but they will remember your pitch.
✍️ Then close the sale. Yes, ask if you can send your CV or come and drop off a copy at the office the next day—preferably when they are in the office.
Note: Every company is always hiring as long as you can identify problems and position yourself as the solution to those problems.
