Every Step Matters. Every Step Can Make a Difference.
What if every step we take could help bring health and care to those around us?
This September, 721 employees of Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals took part in an employee charity step campaign, contributing more than 22 million steps. Their steps were converted into RMB 85,800 (approximately USD 12,000) in charitable funds, which helped support our “Every Moment Matters, Health for All” community health initiative in Beijing.
Together with Beijing Leyu Charity Foundation, we brought health services directly into local communities during Tencent’s “99 Giving Day” campaign.
Across five community activities, our teams and healthcare professionals provided residents with:
• Blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI and waist circumference checks
• Diabetic retinopathy screening
• Health consultations and guidance on diet, exercise and daily health management
• Educational activities on diabetes and chronic disease management
We also provided targeted financial assistance to more than 30 residents facing both chronic illness and financial difficulties, helping ensure that support reached those who needed it most.
More than 300 community residents have benefited from the initiative so far.
From one employee’s step to millions of steps, from an online charity campaign to tangible action in the community, every step became part of a larger commitment to health.
