⚡ 24V or 48V for your next low-voltage track lighting project?

At the same connected power, a 48V system draws half the current of a 24V system—helping reduce voltage drop on longer runs. But voltage alone does not determine the right solution.

Ever seen an IP67 recessed light fog up—and wondered how that's possible? 💧

An IP rating evaluates resistance to water and dust under defined test conditions. It does not guarantee that a luminaire will remain condensation-free through every real-world temperature and humidity cycle.

Internal fogging usually requires three conditions:

💧 Moisture is present
🌡️ Thermal cycling draws humid air through available pathways
❄️ An internal surface falls below the dew point

For outdoor step lights and in-ground luminaires, reducing the risk requires a complete system approach—from vents, gaskets and cable entries to drainage, assembly control and full-luminaire validation.
