Maize ear phenotyping analysis with our plant phenotyping system
Recently, our system was used to analyze maize ears in Shanghai, China.
The system captured images of maize samples and generated quantitative phenotypic data, including:
• Length and width measurements
• Contour analysis
• Sample counting
• Point distribution analysis
• Kernel row number
• Total kernel number
• Shape-related parameters
By combining imaging and automated analysis, researchers can obtain more detailed information about maize ear characteristics for further study and evaluation.
It is always exciting to see how plant phenotyping technology can be applied in real research projects. 🌱
