ow Much Weight Can a Gift Paper Bag Hold?

Many customers believe that thicker paper always means a stronger paper bag. However, based on our production experience, that is not always the best choice.
For our gift paper bags, we usually use 250gsm single-coated paper. Some customers request 300gsm or 350gsm paper because they worry about load-bearing capacity. But when the paper is too thick, the folded edges and corners are more likely to crack, burst, or show white marks during folding and shipment.
To prove the strength of our regular paper bag, we tested it with full, unopened bottles of water. Even with a heavy load, the bottom remains strong and stable.
In general, our paper bags can hold around 5 to 10 kilograms, depending on the size, structure, and handle design. With the right material and workmanship, a paper bag can be both elegant and durable.
