Why Grounding Matters More Than You Think in Industrial Printing?

Last month, a factory contacted us with a strange problem.

Their printer was working fine before — but suddenly, the codes became blurry, positions shifted, and sometimes the machine behaved unpredictably.

They thought the printer was faulty.

But when we checked the production line, everything looked normal.

Until we noticed one thing:
there was no grounding on the conveyor system.

As cartons and plastic packages moved along the belt, friction was quietly generating static electricity — building up to thousands of volts.

This invisible force was interfering with the ink droplets and even affecting the printer’s signals.

The solution? Surprisingly simple.

We connected a grounding wire:
from the printer → to the conveyor’s metal frame → to earth ground.

Once the static electricity was discharged, everything returned to normal.

Clean codes. Stable printing. No more issues.

In industrial printing, problems are not always visible.

Sometimes, the difference between failure and perfection…
is just one grounding wire.
