🚨 47% Surge in Layoffs in Malaysia — What’s Really Happening?

Malaysia just recorded 24,100 retrenchments in Q1 2026 alone 👉 a sharp +47% increase YoY!

At first glance, this looks alarming.
But here’s the deeper truth 👇

Is your college degree becoming obsolete in the AI era? 🚨🎓

A recent Stanford study reveals a shocking reality: Employmet for young software developers (ages 22-25) has plummeted by 20%, while older workers over 30 are actually seeing job growth of 6% to 12%!

Why? Because AI can now do standard entry-level tasks—like organizing data, drafting documents, and running basic analysis—in just seconds.

👉 As Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently pointed out, programming is essentially just "typing" now. What AI can't replace yet is human judgment, experience, and domain expertise.

With 95% of companies no longer considering a degree a hard requirement for entry-level jobs, it's time to stop relying on a piece of paper.
