Starting from December 1，2024, foreigners will no longer need to apply for work permit card.

Foreigner’s Work Permit card will be interpreted with Social Security Card.
Once you arrive to China, you need to download the Electronic Social Security Card APP, and register there. Once it’s done, there will be your social security card and work permit detail.
You will be able to handle all applications, renewals, changes and cancellations online via this APP.

The process of work visa application hasn’t changed, while application for residence permit has become easier, because now you need to show your social security QR code without need to wait for your physical work permit card

Yunyan Pagoda is the ancient pagoda in Tiger Hill Park of Suzhou. It is 47 meters high, and is the oldest pagoda of Suzhou. It was build in 10th century. The pagoda was damaged by fires and started to fall, so people call it Chinese Pisa tower

To further promote people-to-people exchanges with other countries, China has decided to expand the scope of visa-free countries. 9 more countries have been added!!!!!

During the period from 8th Nov, 2024 to 31st Dec, 2025, holders of ordinary passports from Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, South Korea can enter China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends or transit for no more than 15 days without a visa!

On the 2023 list of the “Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Expats”, released by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security’s Foreign Talent Research Center, Hangzhou ranked third, following Beijing and Shanghai, marking its 14th consecutive year on the list and an improvement over its 2022 ranking

Other cities are Guangzhou, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Nanjing, Chengdu, Xiamen, Haikou, Chongqing, Dalian, Ningbo, Kunming, Xi’an, Changsha, Changzhou, Hefei, Ji’nan
