We are excited to share our strategic distribution partnership with Eurobio Scientific to help bring advanced precision oncology diagnostics to more clinicians and patients across Europe and the UK.

The partnership will support access to Canhelp-Origin and Canhelp-UCa, two CE-IVD-certified molecular diagnostic assays designed to help inform cancer care through tissue-of-origin identification for cancers with uncertain primary sites and non-invasive urothelial carcinoma testing.

With Eurobio Scientific's strong European specialty diagnostics network and our precision oncology portfolio, this collaboration is an important step toward making innovative cancer diagnostics more accessible in everyday clinical practice.

During the oral session, our team presented the latest research on Digital Pathology + AI approach.

Microsatellite instability (MSI) plays a critical role in colorectal cancer (CRC) diagnosis and treatment. The Promega MSI assay is widely used but has limitations in terms of cost, time, and tissue requirements. This study aimed to compare the consistency of Deepath-MSI, a whole slide image (WSI)-based approach, with the traditional Promega MSI assay in assessing MSI status in CRC.

🔹High accuracy: 96% sensitivity, 92% specificity in surgical CRC specimens.
🔹Efficiency boost: Reduced traditional PCR testing by 87% in surgical specimens and 82% in biopsy samples.

During the 7 September 2025 oral session, Canhelp Genomics unveiled our newest innovation in tumor origin identification.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and urothelial carcinoma often share similar histology and immunophenotypes, making it hard for conventional pathology to accurately identify their tissue of origin.That’s why we developed Deepath-SCC, a deep learning model designed to improve the accuracy and interpretability of SCC tissue origin identification.

🔹Primary SCCs: 96.9% overall accuracy (94.7–98.5% across subtypes)
🔹Metastatic SCCs: 91.9% overall accuracy (78.6–100% across subtypes)

Deepath-SCC offers a fast, cost-effective, and reliable solution—especially valuable for cases with unknown or multiple primary SCCs.

We're thrilled to share a major milestone from Canhelp Genomics:

Our deep learning model Deepath-MSI—designed for microsatellite instability (MSI) detection in colorectal cancer (CRC) using whole-slide imaging—has been published in a leading oncology journal, marking a leap forward in clinical pathology AI.

Standout Clinical Performance
In a real-world validation study of 2,236 CRC samples, Deepath-MSI delivered exceptional results: At a 95% sensitivity threshold (critical for avoiding false negatives in clinical care), it achieved ~91% specificity and accurately excluded approximately 90.7% of microsatellite-stable (MSS) patients from further follow-up molecular testing (e.g., IHC/PCR). This directly lightens the burden of resource-intensive ancillary tests, streamlines diagnostic workflows, and speeds up treatment decision-making for CRC patients globally.

A Pioneering Recognition
Deepath-MSI is the first AI-powered computational pathology model to receive the "Innovative Medical Device" designation from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA)—a testament to its clinical relevance, technical innovation, and potential to transform standard care. It has also obtained EU CE certification for colorectal cancer MSI detection that underscores its clinical reliability and global applicability.

Breaking news! We’re proud to announce that Gene Expression Test System for Human Urothelial Cancer Detection (Canhelp-UCa) was officially approved by NMPA (China’s FDA).

The Canhelp-UCa test is a CE-IVD multi-target urine RNA test combined with proprietary AI algorithms, offering a promising approach for the noninvasive detection and surveillance of urothelial carcinoma, including bladder cancer, as well as renal pelvis and ureter carcinomas.

Multicenter prospective clinical study demonstrated that the product achieved a clinical sensitivity of 95.9%, specificity of 94.5%, and an overall concordance rate of 95%, delivering high detection rates across all tumor stages and subtypes.
