Why UV Glue Only Cures Under a UV Lamp?

It all comes down to its special formula. UV glue has photoinitiator inside. This stuff won’t do anything until it soaks up the right wavelength of UV light from a UV lamp. Once it gets that energy, it kicks off a quick chemical reaction that turns the runny liquid glue into a hard, solid layer in just seconds.

Left on its own in normal room light or weak sunlight, the glue will stay liquid forever. Regular lights don’t put out nearly enough strong, targeted UV energy to fire up that "light trigger" — that’s why you always need a dedicated UV lamp to get a full, fast cure every time. #
