At the head: a 5.0 mm 65Mn high-carbon steel blade, heat-treated to HRC54±2 and Teflon-coated in black, cuts against a 50C carbon steel counter blade and a die-cast aluminium anvil. Maximum cutting capacity is 40 mm, and the pulley structure reduces the effort needed to get through it. Soft bumpers absorb the shock at the end of every cut.
