FeiFei Liu, Head Sommelier from Pudao Wines, China's top female sommelier, conducted a masterclass for our VIPs on American wine history and the differences among each wine region. Some of the wines are showcased in China for the first time and our guests had the chance to be the first ones tasting them.

To value on the culture of American wines, we paired them with selected U.S. cheese, pecans and the finest U.S. wagyu beef from Farms.

SAVORi is partnering with USDA Shanghai office to promote American Wine and Spirits in China. Last month (September) was and we co-organized a bourbon night at the iconic Peace Hotel Jazz Bar by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts on the Bund of Shanghai, with bourbons from . We made a special drink menu with four tailored bourbon cocktails to inspire the new flavors with bourbon. Our guest WSET 4 wine&spirits instructor Benjamin Birot also led a great masterclass introducing the heritage of bourbon and its history with African Americans, followed by a live jazz performance. Overall it was a great night sharing stories about U.S. Whiskey to Chinese F&B professionals and we hope to continue create innovative concepts for F&B brands to grow in China.

The most premium boutique winery in China - Silver Heights.

Silver Heights is the first Chinese winery that managed to export to Bordeaux, France. Currently the winery exports 75% of the total wine exported from Ningxia Province. Their Family Reserve Chardonnay 2017 was the only Chinese wine that President Xi introduced to the French President Macron when he visited China in 2019.
