Moving out to the mountains for the winter is one of the best things I could have ever done for my mental health. There really is something in the mountain air that’s good for your soul.🏔️❤️

I was a ski/snowboard guide my entire adult life and I’ve never had more fun than when on the bunny hills teaching my own kids how to ski. 🥹🎿

Today we skied until the hill closed and my daughter wanted to keep going so I pulled her up the bunny hill at least 30 times 😂 we had a BLAST. Being a mom is so freaking fun I could cry.

Yay, we made it?!? Counterfeit knock-offs! They say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, but in this case it makes us nervous. These products are lazy copycats, not to mention dangerous. It’s probably safe to assume that if someone is using sloppy AI for their product photos, their quality control is also lacking. Also, despite their suggestion, do not use their thin-stringed product for anything close to “children under 165 pounds”! You will be guaranteed not to have a “Happy Day”. (Counterfeit brands featured: Oshhni, YEESOM, Covaner)

.go.exploring: “ to the rescue here for easily allowing us both to navigate this tricky section at the end of the day”

“Should’ve stuck to the blue run here.

A reminder that if you’re skiing with beginners, going down the mountain only on ‘green’ runs might not always be the best option.

This green run was quite narrow, making wide turns difficult to do, and it was too steep to just go straight down. In this case a nice and wide groomed blue run would’ve been much easier, faster and more enjoyable to go down. Lesson learned.

💚 follow .go.exploring as we teach our young kids to ski and more family adventure fun
