Regarding to the thermal conductivity, part one:
Generally speaking, why is the thermal conductivity of ceramic board higher than MCPCB? The lamination structure is the main reason.
For the thermal conductivity of the material itself, copper base is 400W/mk, aluminium base is 200W/mk, alumina basis is 20W/mk, and AIN is 180W. As you can see, copper base is high performance on thermal conductivity, but ceramic PCB is still better than MCPCB after completed. Let me remind, the copper material & aluminium material are conductor, but ceramic material is insulator.
