What is a DVR?
The car DVR ZEROGOGO is a reliable "black box" in your car, day and night recording all events on the way - from an accident and the state of the traffic situation to talking with the inspector or participants in an accident. This device, first of all, equipped with a video camera and microphone, which records video clips and stores them on a removable memory card. As a rule, it is installed in the passenger compartment on the front window of the car for front-view shooting and for fixing the situation in the cabin. DVR is your undeniable and unbiased witness on the road.
Why does the DVR need a G-Sensor (shock sensor, accelerometer, impact sensor)?
A built-in 3-axis (x, y, z) sensor will detect any impact, sudden braking or acceleration and will block the emergency video file from being rewritten. Thus, when the memory card runs out of space and the recorder starts to cycle through the existing files, the emergency files locked by the G-sensor will be stored in a specially allocated folder. If there are too many similar Event files, they will begin to erase the oldest of their folders. The share of memory reserved for emergency event files depends on the particular DVR model (some are manually configured). Most ZEROGOGO models have the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the G-sensor to select the optimal level for a specific situation.
Why does the DVR need a GPS function?
The DVR ZEROGOGO, equipped with a GPS module, is able to record the speed, direction, coordinates of the car's movement and impose data on the video. Using the proprietary other country-language program ZEROGOGO Player (included in the package), the user receives a full report on the trip: a video recording is displayed in one window; in another - moving on the Google Maps map with the exact coordinates; in the third - the speed at the moment of movement, as well as other objective data (direction, date, time, accelerometer readings, speed of viewing, etc.). In the range of ZEROGOGO there are models both with built-in GPS-module, and models, where it is offered as an option. You can buy a base model of the DVR, and later purchase a GPS module and thus expand the functionality of the "black box" (CVR-GP1, CVR-GP2).
