There have been several incidents involving Chinese companies in Thailand and Hong Kong. In Thailand, a building collapse during an earthquake was linked to a joint venture between Italian Thai Development and China Railway Number 10 (Thailand) Ltd., resulting in nearly 100 deaths. The company, a subsidiary of China's state-owned China Railway Group, was charged with breaching construction regulations and causing death through negligence ¹ ².
In Hong Kong, a devastating fire at Wang F*k Court housing complex killed at least 44 people, with over 1,200 people still missing. The incident has raised concerns about construction quality and safety regulations ³ ⁴.
These incidents highlight concerns about construction safety and oversight in projects involving Chinese companies abroad.
So, seriously Chian need to first look int how their people react and behave before they could become world number one. Just like Electric car for example China first priority is BEAUTIFUL and as for TESLA in the US their first priority is SAFTY for their customer. Chia kept claiming they have overtaken the US in terms of Technology but not in terms of Safety.
Even for FOOD SAFTY, there have been instances of food poisoning linked to Chinese food companies in Germany. Recently, over 100 Chinese exhibitors at the MEDICA 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf fell ill with food poisoning, with at least four people hospitalized. The Chinese Consulate General in Düsseldorf confirmed the incident and attributed it to food safety issues with boxed meals provided by a local Chinese restaurant, Brothers' Barbecue. The restaurant apologized and took remedial measures, including distributing medication and assisting severely affected exhibitors ¹ ² ³.
This isn't the first time Chinese food has been linked to food poisoning in Germany. In 2012, frozen Chinese strawberries contaminated with norovirus infected over 11,000 children in Germany. However, China refuted the claims, stating that samples from the company involved didn't contain the virus ⁴ ⁵.
Food safety remains a concern, and authorities are urging consumers to be cautious when consuming food from unknown sources.
Therefore, if China planned to become the world power then they have to take necessary and serious action against all safty rules. Otherwise, nobody in the world will feel safe and respect a country then bring HARM especially FOOD SAFTY to the world.
