Living in China and visiting the USA gave me a perspective I couldn’t get any other way.
China impresses me every day its infrastructure, safety, discipline, and how efficiently everything runs. It’s built to perform. But as a foreigner, life here can feel lonely. The system works perfectly, yet personally, it’s hard to truly belong. Everything is structured, efficient and sometimes, you feel more like part of a machine than a person.
The USA felt different the moment I landed. It gives confidence. It encourages personality. Being multicultural, open, and language-friendly makes you feel seen and heard. You’re allowed to be yourself, to speak freely, and to grow as an individual.
China builds systems.
The USA builds people.
Experiencing both has shaped how I think about life, business, and myself and I’m grateful for that balance.
