Bahtera Lagenda Sdn. Bhd. (BLSB) has successfully renewed its registration as a Strategic Partner of the Malaysia International Halal Academy (MIHA), with the renewed registration valid until 31 May 2029.

First registered as a MIHA Strategic Partner in June 2021, BLSB continues to be an authorized consultant and training provider for Halal development through training and coaching programmes.

This renewed recognition reaffirms BLSB's commitment to supporting the development of Halal industry professionals and strengthening Halal competency through quality training initiatives. As a registered MIHA Strategic Partner, BLSB remains eligible to provide training and coaching programmes related to JAKIM Halal certification.

WHC Honours Datin Paduka Hajah Hakimah binti Mohd Yusoff on Her Retirement

On 7 July 2026, the World Halal Council (WHC) had the honour of presenting a token of appreciation to Datin Paduka Hajah Hakimah binti Mohd Yusoff, the former Director General of JAKIM, in recognition of her official retirement on 8 July 2026, following 34 years of dedicated service to the Muslim community and the global halal industry.

Representing WHC, our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and WHC Treasurer, Mrs. Naili Hastika, presented a commemorative plaque and an official letter of appreciation in recognition of Datin Paduka Hajah Hakimah's remarkable contributions to the advancement of the halal ecosystem and her unwavering support for Halal Certification Bodies (HCBs) worldwide.

The occasion was also graced by the presence of Mr. Mahmoud Tatari, Member of the WHC Integrity & Ethical Committee (IEC) and Representative of Halal Control, Germany, together with our Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Farish Husni.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Datin Paduka Hajah Hakimah for her exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, and lasting impact on the Ummah and the global halal industry.

We wish her a fulfilling and blessed retirement. May Allah reward her abundantly for her invaluable service and grant her continued good health, happiness, and success in the years ahead.
