Instructions for Using and Cautions of Bamboo Bowl and Plate Set for Babies
I. Usage Methods
1. Use after cleaning and disinfection:
• Before using the bamboo bowl and plate set for babies for the first time, wash it with warm water. Then, it can be disinfected by boiling water or in a disinfection cabinet. After disinfection, ensure the bowl and plate are dry to prevent bacteria from growing.
2. Correctly hold hot and cold food:
• Bamboo bowls and plates can hold food of various temperatures, but avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking. When holding hot food, do not directly take food from a high-temperature stove and put it into the bowl and plate. Let it cool down a little before putting it in.
3. Operation during feeding:
• When feeding the baby, put an appropriate amount of food in the bowl and scoop it up with a small spoon. Ensure that the food temperature is appropriate to avoid scalding the baby.
II. Cautions
1. Daily cleaning:
• Clean it in time after each use. Use mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth to clean. Avoid using rough cleaning tools to prevent scratching the surface of the bowl and plate. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly to prevent detergent residue.
2. Regular disinfection:
• To ensure the safety of the baby's diet, disinfect the bamboo bowl and plate set regularly. Disinfect one or two times a week according to the frequency of use.
3. Storage method:
• Keep it dry and ventilated. Avoid placing it in a humid environment to prevent the bamboo bowl and plate from getting moldy. You can stack them neatly and put them in a special storage box or cabinet to avoid squeezing and collision.
4. Inspection and replacement:
• Regularly check whether there are cracks, damages, or discolorations. If there is a problem, replace it in time. Generally speaking, when the bamboo bowl and plate show obvious wear, or deformation, or cannot be completely cleaned, consider replacing them with a new set.
Special reminder: Bamboo bowls and plates are not recommended to be used in dishwashers. The high-temperature water, strong water flow, and detergent in the dishwasher may cause deformation, cracking, or damage to the surface coating. They cannot be used in microwave ovens either. Bamboo may burn or even catch fire in the microwave oven, and at the same time, it may release harmful substances and endanger human health.
