Please see below picture the solution we implemented on the school bus project.

It was been installed with counter camera at the very first place, but because of the low height of the school bus door, it might cause inaccuracy when some high student cover the camera lens. Then after our discussion, we implemented RFID solution which can make sure a 100% accuracy. It is a very smart and practical RFID solution that we implemented both RFID reader both for students and driver:

1. Student RFID reader: When one student get on the bus and swipe his/her card, the monitor will increase number(student:1)….like this, also on the MDVR will show student ID on the log to match and relevant card information on the CMS client, once arrive destination, one student get off and swipe the card, it will decrease number accordingly, also log and CMS client has relevant number accordingly.

2. Driver RFID reader: Install at the back of school bus, driver has to walk the back to make ACC OFF to swipe the driver RFID reader, because driver has to make sure all students are left before vehicle ACC OFF.
