Masterwork Group Co., Ltd has developed into a group-integrated enterprise covering high-end printing equipment manufacturing, new energy, medical health, health service, financial service, and other sectors in multi-axis cooperative development. The main business of MK includes printing equipment manufacturing, medical equipment manufacturing & sales, financial leasing, intellectualization & digitalization business and consultations of smart plant. Over hundred products in more than10 product series of foil stamping machine, die cutter, inspector, folder gluer, variable data printing, laser cutter and gravure printing press were totally independent developed by MK. Automation ≠ Intelligence ≠ AI.

For years, automation has helped manufacturers reduce manual intervention and execute predefined processes more efficiently.

But intelligent production goes one step further.

It's not only about executing a process. It's about understanding production status, identifying abnormalities, supporting better decisions, and adapting to changing conditions.

The evolution is becoming clear:

Fixed processes → Data-driven production → Intelligent decision-making

For post-press manufacturers, the next competitive advantage may not come from simply adding more automation, but from making the entire production process more aware, connected, and responsive.

And that leads to a bigger question:

From data to decisions: how is AI actually entering print production?

Modern production already generates enormous amounts of data. Machine status, quality, downtime, workflow and other signals can tell us what is happening on the production floor.

But visibility alone is not intelligence.

The next step is turning those signals into understanding: identifying abnormalities earlier, supporting operators with better information, and helping production respond more effectively to changing conditions.

This is where AI is beginning to change the role of production data — from something we monitor to something that can support decisions.

For the printing industry, the real opportunity of AI may not be simply collecting more data, but connecting data, production and decision-making more closely.

And when that intelligence moves deeper into the production workflow, what comes next?

Already familiar with MK machine, they visited our facility to explore the next step in their production upgrade, with a closer look at our Folder Gluer.

Together with Heidelberg, we're committed to supporting our customers with the right solutions for their evolving production needs.

During the on-site test, the customer even added two marks to the sample themselves, and the inspection system successfully detected both. A simple test, but a clear demonstration of how reliable quality inspection works in real production.

Throughout the show, the MK Ecocut 170CS attracted strong interest from packaging professionals, creating opportunities to discuss large-format corrugated die-cutting, production efficiency, and real manufacturing needs.
