🇰🇷 Project Update: Delivering maximum efficiency where it matters most! 🚀
Our latest 605 kWp ground-mounted solar project in South Korea is rapidly taking shape. In a market where high labor costs and strict weather loads dictate design choices, prefabrication and smart engineering are the ultimate keys to success.
Here is how we optimized the structural design for this site:
🔩 Concrete-Free Foundations: Driven ground screws completely eliminated the need for excavation and concrete curing, preserving the local terrain and slashing civil work timelines.
🏗️ Robust Square Tube Columns: High-strength carbon steel square tubes were deployed as the primary load-bearing columns, providing superior torsional stiffness against South Korea’s challenging wind and snow loads.
📐 Slotted Channel Purlins: We utilized precision-engineered slotted channels for the horizontal purlins. The continuous slot design offers unparalleled adjustability during module alignment. Combined with a 100% bolted assembly, this eliminated all on-site drilling and welding—drastically reducing expensive local labor hours.
The main framework is now fully erected with exceptional dimensional accuracy, and the Tier-1 modules are staged and ready for immediate mounting.
What is your preferred purlin profile for accelerating ground-mounted installations? Let’s discuss in the comments! 👇
