You’ve probably heard the term “AI-native” by now. But what does it actually mean?

It’s more than knowing how to prompt a chatbot and calling it a day.

An AI-native professional doesn’t just add AI to the work they already do. They start questioning the work itself: Is there a better way to approach this? What could AI handle? Where does human judgment matter most?

They experiment, adapt, and keep learning as the technology changes. AI might help produce the first draft, surface a new direction, or take on part of the process — but they’re still responsible for deciding what’s useful and what makes the final cut.

That’s a different skill set from simply knowing how to use an AI tool.

And the job market is starting to reflect that.

According to the 2024 Microsoft + LinkedIn Work Trend Index, 71% of leaders would rather hire a less experienced candidate with AI skills than a more experienced candidate without them.

So, what does it actually take to become an AI-native professional?

We dig into it in our latest blog. Link in comments.

A lot of platforms now review 100% of customer conversations. Sounds airtight.

Until you ask: who's doing the reviewing?

If the system that ran the conversation is also deciding it went well, it's grading its own homework. And a score you can't independently check is hard to fully trust.

In his latest piece, Booth Co-founder Jamie Booth looks at what outcome-based outsourcing actually demands once AI is doing the work: AI for scale, people for judgment, and independent QA to prove the result.

That means putting AI's scoring against real human judgment and paying closest attention to where the two disagree. That gap is where the work happens, and where the operation gets better.

Because AI can do an enormous amount of work. But work with nobody accountable for it isn't an operating model. It's just automation.

That's the difference between selling capacity and taking accountability. No QA can promise what happens after the conversation ends. What it can do, every single time, is check that the customer got a complete answer against the standard you actually set. If you're paying for an outcome, that's the proof worth asking for.

If AI is doing half the work, what are you actually paying for?

As AI changes how services are delivered, the conversation is shifting from headcount and hours to outcomes and accountability.

In her latest article, our Chief Growth Officer, Jen Spencer, explores how AI is challenging traditional pricing models and what buyers should be asking instead.

Siargao has been part of our story for years.

Through our work with Hope for the Island, Philippines, we’ve seen how a small community can do a lot with limited resources. For 27 years, they’ve been feeding, teaching, and supporting children, families, and the wider Siargao community.

But fresh food remains a challenge. Today, much of the island’s produce comes from outside the community.

That’s why we’re helping build a weather-resilient greenhouse.

It will grow fresh food for Hope’s programs, create income through surplus harvests, and give local families the skills to grow sustainably.

We’re raising $40,000 to break ground, and Booth is matching every donation dollar for dollar.

A lot of companies choose a managed services vendor by comparing hourly rates, signing with the cheapest credible option, and discovering six months later that price was the least useful thing they compared.

Rate tells you almost nothing about whether the work will hold up under pressure.
A managed services partner isn't just supplying people. They're taking accountability for a result, which makes this a bigger decision than staffing.

In our latest thought-leadership piece, our Chief Operating Officer, Kathy Barredo-Ancheta, lays out the framework she actually uses to evaluate an operation. She's sat on both sides of this decision, as the buyer choosing a vendor and the operator being chosen, and the guide covers the seven criteria that predict whether a partnership will still be working a year in, why the pricing model matters as much as the work, and the single best thing you can do before you sign.

Whether you're evaluating managed services for the first time or reassessing your current setup, it's built to help you ask sharper questions before you decide.

"We wanted the experience to feel no different than hiring in North America. And it truly did."

That’s Scott Davies, SVP of Customer Success and Revenue Operations at Softchoice, a worldwide technology company, on scaling IT teams across three global regions with Booth.

The usual worry with global IT is that security, compliance, and control slip the moment you leave home turf. Softchoice didn’t. They grew their teams across three regions without loosening a single standard.

Our 2025 Impact Report is live.

The honest version of what growing without compromise actually looks like: the wins we're proud of, the work that's nowhere near finished, and the people and partners who made all of it happen.

Since 2013, we've held one conviction we've never budged on: that you don't have to choose between values and velocity. This report is us holding ourselves to it, out loud.

Proud to build that same Booth, every day, here in Colombia. 🇨🇴

A new hire who's unsure will ask a question. An AI agent won't. It just answers, fluently, whether or not it's right.

That's the gap most AI-supported operations haven't closed. The agent goes live, the queue moves, and speed gets mistaken for quality until a customer catches what a rubric should have caught weeks earlier.

Our Chief Growth Officer, Jen Spencer, breaks down why quality control has to be designed into agentic work from day one, not bolted on after the first complaint.
