The Embassy of India in Colombia, represented by Vineet Kumar, First Secretary, and Laura Nuván, in the company of the Colombia Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by its Vice President Mauricio Cháves, in their work of continuing the commercial and technological relationship programs between India and Colombia in two ways, visited the helppeople company in Cali in order to deepen relationship spaces in terms of ICT technologies, productive innovation alliances, software development for artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Agritech, Fintech, marketing of solutions and joint ventures between companies in India and Colombia. We thank the host of Antonio Jiménez, CEO of the technology company helppeople, and Kateryne Monzón, for their openness to consolidate these opportunities for joint growth.

This is how the great celebration of International Yoga Day (IDY) 2026 was lived in the capital. One of the biggest milestones of this edition was the strategic alliance with the Parque 93 Association, which allowed this important meeting to be moved to the heart of one of the most iconic and vibrant public spaces in the city, managing to reach a wide and diverse audience.

This collaboration reflected a shared vision of promoting health, balance and community participation, creating a fully inclusive platform where thousands of citizens and visitors gathered to experience the benefits of yoga and adopt its message of harmony.

Así se vivió la gran celebración del Día Internacional del Yoga (IDY) 2026 en la capital. Uno de los mayores hitos de esta edición fue la alianza estratégica con la Asociación Parque 93, que permitió trasladar este importante encuentro al corazón de uno de los espacios públicos más icónicos y vibrantes de la ciudad, logrando llegar a un público amplio y diverso.

Today the Colombia-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry led a strategic meeting with INVIMA, in which its General Director, Dr. Francisco Rossi, and the Director of Medicines, Dr. Danaida Sandoval, participated. The meeting facilitated a direct dialogue with the pharmaceutical sector to review the Institute’s progress in the evaluation of health procedures and records, indispensable processes for safe trade between India and Colombia.

During the day, the entrepreneurs highlighted the openness and transparent management of the entity, solving key doubts about health regulations. As a health authority in the country, the articulation with INVIMA seeks to speed up import approvals and support the technical growth of our business sector.

Hoy la Cámara Colombia-India de Comercio e Industria lideró una reunión estratégica con el INVIMA, en la que participaron su Director General, Dr.Francisco Rossi, y la Directora de Medicamentos, Dra.Danaida Sandoval. El encuentro facilitó un diálogo directo con el sector farma para revisar los avances del Instituto en la evaluación de trámites y registros sanitarios, procesos indispensables para el comercio seguro entre India y Colombia.

Durante la jornada, los empresarios destacaron la apertura y la gestión transparente de la entidad, resolviendo dudas clave sobre normativa sanitaria. Como autoridad de salud en el país, la articulación con el INVIMA busca agilizar las homologaciones de importación y respaldar el crecimiento técnico de nuestro sector empresarial.

The Colombia-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry coordinated a strategic meeting in order to strengthen cultural, tourism and business exchange between both nations. The meeting was attended by Dr. Vineet Kumar, First Secretary of the Embassy of India; Mrs. Andrea Angarita and Julieth Cotrino, of the companies Tripsoon and Tripvisa and experts in Asian tourism; and Mauricio Chaves, Vice President of the Chamber.

This initiative seeks to promote India’s comprehensive offer, highlighting wellness tourism (yoga and ayurveda), luxury, business, technology and adventure (Himalaya and safaris), as well as the film and cultural industry. Likewise, it is intended to consolidate Colombia as a strategic and attractive destination for the citizens of India, promoting high-impact bilateral cooperation.

La Cámara Colombia-India de Comercio e Industria coordinó una reunión estratégica con el fin de fortalecer el intercambio cultural, turístico y de negocios entre ambas naciones. El encuentro contó con la participación del Dr. Vineet Kumar, Primer Secretario de la Embajada de la India; las señoras Andrea Angarita y Julieth Cotrino, de las empresas Tripsoon y Tripvisa y expertas en turismo asiático; y Mauricio Chaves, Vicepresidente de la Cámara.

Esta iniciativa busca promover la oferta integral de la India, destacando el turismo de bienestar (yoga y ayurveda), lujo, negocios, tecnología y aventura (Himalaya y safaris), así como la industria cinematográfica y cultural. De igual manera, se pretende consolidar a Colombia como un destino estratégico y atractivo para los ciudadanos de la India, fomentando una cooperación bilateral de alto impacto.

The international book fair of Bogotá ended and for the Colombia India Chamber of Commerce and Industry it has been an honor to accompany India as a Guest Country of Honor.

Through this photographic record we share the balance of what were intense days of cultural and commercial exchange. The pavilion was the main stage to strengthen the ties between the two nations, highlighting not only our literary wealth but also the potential of our film and publishing industry.

We thank all the attendees and allies who were part of this meeting. For the Chamber, this closure represents the beginning of new projects and alliances that will continue to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Colombia and India.

Finalizó la feria internacional del libro de Bogotá y para la Cámara Colombia India de Comercio e Industria ha sido un honor acompañar a la India como País Invitado de Honor.

A través de este registro fotográfico compartimos el balance de lo que fueron jornadas intensas de intercambio cultural y comercial. El pabellón fue el escenario principal para fortalecer los lazos entre ambas naciones, destacando no solo nuestra riqueza literaria sino también el potencial de nuestra industria filmográfica y editorial.
