My father's birthday greeting was always a reminder of my journey around the sun. Today, I mark 73 trips and hope for 20 more. I am grateful for the support of loved ones and look forward to continuing my journey with Julieth, my soulmate, in South America.

Today, we honor the memory of my father on his 106th birthday. His life serves as a reminder of the power of resilience and dedication. Although he left us in 1984, his legacy endures through the lives he touched and the lessons he taught me. As a Land Surveyor, following in his footsteps, I continue to be guided by his wisdom and example. Together with Julieth, our children, and grandchildren, we express our deepest gratitude for the indelible mark he left on our lives.

Today is my beautiful talented and passionate grand daughters birthday. Today she celebrates 8 years with us and we are thankful.

Although we are an entire country apart, Redondo Beach to Boston, she is in my daily thoughts and prayers.

Continue to grow learn and experience your wonderful life. May the good lord be with you always.

Today I had the distinct honor and privilege to speak to the students of the Geomatics department at Cal Poly Pomona.

A lively, energetic, inquisitive group of young men and women.

We spoke about their future, the opportunities that are before them, and some life lessons and “Seymourisms. Tips on life.

What a pleasure. My thanks to Michael Rosell of the student chapter of CLSA. And to my “boss” Kevin Hills for allowing me the time.

The future of Land Surveying is in good hands.

Today, I was part of a “team” of land surveyors receiving a proclamation from the Orange County Board of Supervisors for recognition for the National Surveyors a Week observance.

My thanks to the Orange County Surveyor, Kevin Hills; Deputy County Surveyors Lily Sandberg and Wade Weaver, and Jonathan Maddox, the local chapter president for their participation in ceremony.

And a special thanks to chairwoman Bartlett for the sincere kind words and appreciation for our profession.

Homeward bound from beautiful, snowy, and cold Colorado. It was a pleasure presenting my seminar on the business aspects of Surveying to PLSC. A lively exchange was had by all and I continue to enjoy the process.

NSPS provided the "Final Point" monument along with the officers, past and present, of the San Diego chapter of CLSA. as a former state president, it was my pleasure and honor to be there and celebrate with my fellow surveyors. The honoree, Jas Arnold was honored for his dedication to access for all people on a magnificent trail in rural California. Jas your family and friends honored you with 2 plaques! Each with coordinates to the other. Cal State Fresno and your trail will forever have your mark. Thank you for a lifetime to the profession.

Finally, a big thanks to Michael Pallamary for his hard work and diligence to process! Job well done, Michael.

It was my pleasure to present 4 sessions for the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors at their 76th annual state conference. Thanks to the state officers, the management company, and the over 500 attendees. A great exchange of ideas, informative sessions, and learning for all. I have an even deeper respect for my fellow surveyors here in Michigan.
