Ayer recibí oficialmente mi pasaporte español 🇪🇸
Estoy profundamente agradecida por la oportunidad que brindó la Ley de Memoria Democrática (LMD), que me permitió reconectar con mis raíces familiares y obtener la nacionalidad española.
Este logro tiene un significado muy especial para mí porque no habría sido posible sin mi mamá. Aunque ya no está físicamente conmigo, su amor, su fortaleza y el legado que nos dejó siguen acompañándome cada día. Gracias a ella y a la historia de nuestra familia, hoy puedo celebrar este momento tan importante.
Como colombiana que ha construido su vida en Costa Rica y profesionalmente ha tenido la oportunidad de conectar personas y culturas a través del reclutamiento, este pasaporte representa mucho más que un documento. Representa identidad, historia, nuevas oportunidades y un puente entre generaciones.
Gracias, mamá. Este logro también es tuyo. ❤️

Yesterday, I officially received my Spanish passport 🇪🇸
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity provided through Spain’s Democratic Memory Law (LMD), which allowed me to reconnect with my family heritage while opening new personal and professional opportunities.
This milestone is especially meaningful because it would not have been possible without my mother. Although she is no longer with us, I carry her memory, her strength, and her love with me every day. I am deeply grateful for everything she did to preserve our family’s history and for making this opportunity possible for future generations.
As a Colombian living in Costa Rica and working in international recruitment, this achievement represents more than a document. It is a connection to my roots, a tribute to my family, and a reminder that some dreams continue beyond those who first inspired them.
