Back in 2023, most traditional venture capitalists weren’t eager to back Anthropic.

The AI startup had no public product, no revenue and needed hundreds of millions of dollars to compete. But Spark Capital partner Yasmin Razavi saw the team behind it—and made the biggest bet in her firm’s history.

Razavi led a $450 million round that valued Anthropic at $5 billion. Today, the company is valued at $380 billion, and Spark’s initial $75 million check, plus follow-on investments, is worth at least $3 billion.

Uno de los lugares más secos del planeta ahora quiere almacenar energía incluso después de que cae el sol.

El desierto de Atacama se convirtió en el epicentro del boom de almacenamiento energético en Chile tras la inauguración de un proyecto solar y de baterías de casi US$500 millones de ContourGlobal. El sistema puede suministrar 200 megavatios durante 6,5 horas y forma parte de la rápida expansión de capacidad de almacenamiento de energía mediante baterías en el país, que ya suma 3.072 megavatios operativos o en pruebas.
