💫 Still smiling. Still processing. Still a little bit in awe.

Our fifth edition of the Finticipate - SEE FinTech Forum delivered - in every sense of the word. Over 170 people from 15 countries walked into Mona Plaza Hotel last week - and somehow, the energy only got better as the day went on.

Three conversations that refused to stay on stage:

💡 Innovation vs. regulation - still complicated, still worth having
🤖 AI promises vs. real-world delivery - everyone had opinion
🌍 SEE as a fintech hub - less "emerging" every year

🙌 None of this would have been possible without the steadfast support of our sponsors and institutional partners. IFC - International Finance Corporation, member of the World Bank Group, and Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) continue to support the right stories. Together with Mainstream, the region’s leading cloud provider, and PaySpot d.o.o. Novi Sad, a homegrown pioneer in payment innovation, they brought energy, expertise, and vision that elevated the entire forum.

A special thanks goes to our speakers and experts who made all discussions truly relevant! Our gratitude also extends to attendees, associations, media partners, and community supporters who helped amplify the conversation and bring the right people together - this community thrives because of you!

📸 And now…here come the smiles! The gallery says it all - happy faces, buzzing energy, and a community that’s shaping the future of finance together.

Five editions in, one thing is clear, this community is just getting started!

Vol.6, we'll see you soon. 👋

From Georgia to Hungary to the Balkans 🌍 — fintech doesn't stop at borders.

How do you align banks with competing commercial interests around shared goals? How do you bring fintechs and regulators to the same table — and actually make it work? And what does it take to build an association from scratch in a region that's still finding its fintech identity?

Three associations, three markets, one conversation about what a collective voice really means — and why it matters more than ever as EU regulatory frameworks reshape the rules for everyone, inside and outside the bloc.

On Finticipate - SEE FinTech Forum stage:

Mikheil Kapanadze — Open Banking Project CEO, Banking Association of Georgia

Jovan Milovanović — Co-founder, Finspot / Founding Member, Balkan Fintech Association

Zoltán Ács — Chairman, Hungarian Fintech Association

Moderated by Nenad Bosiljčić, Payments Strategist

AI in finance: fewer jobs or different ones? How many AI projects actually reach production — and who's accountable when an AI makes the wrong call? A conversation without the buzzwords.

Audience questions and comments were numerous, making the discussion highly interactive, and we’d like to thank the panelists and the moderator for an insightful conversation.

Fintech × banks × insurance. Three worlds, three speeds, one stage.

Everyone talks about collaboration — but what does it look like when the compliance teams get involved, when timelines don't match, and when the line between partner and competitor starts to blur? Right now at , we're getting into the friction, the expectations, and what it actually takes to make innovation work inside regulated systems — banking and insurance alike.

And once again, thank you to Mainstream for backing this dialogue. 🙌

🔍 Serbia's path to SEPA is not just a regulatory milestone - it represents a fundamental transformation of the way payments will function across the entire ecosystem.

From interoperability with the European payments space and Serbia's regional position, to fraud risks, compliance, and what comes after SEPA Credit Transfer — this session covers it all.
