🌿 GreenHeritage as a good practice example at the ''Creative Europe'' Info Day

The ''Creative Europe Info Day'' was held at the ''Đura Jakšić'' Public Library in Petrovac na Mlavi, Serbia, bringing together representatives of cultural, educational and tourism institutions and organizations.

On behalf of ''Creative Europe Desk Serbia'', Bojan Milosavljević presented the opportunities offered by the ''Creative Europe'' programme, with a focus on culture, international partnerships and the support provided by the Desk in the development of project ideas. 🌍🤝

Among the supported projects presented during the event was GreenHeritage. Jelena Anđelković Grašar shared the project results and invited participants to join the GreenHeritage Community of Practice.

We would like to thank ''Creative Europe Desk Serbia'' for the opportunity to present GreenHeritage as an example of good practice, as well as the Homeland Museum and the ''Đura Jakšić'' Public Library in Petrovac na Mlavi for their warm hospitality.

🌍 Today, we celebrate World Environment Day — a reminder that cultural heritage and the environment are deeply interconnected.

🏛️ At GreenHeritage, we believe that protecting our past and safeguarding our future go hand in hand. 🌱 Through education, community engagement, and innovative approaches, we promote the understanding that cultural and natural heritage are not separate assets, but parts of the same living landscape.

♻️ By inspiring new generations to value both heritage and sustainability, we contribute to building more resilient, responsible, and environmentally conscious communities. 🌿

Together, let's protect our heritage, our environment, and our future. 💚

🌿 Presentation of the Green Heritage Pedagogical Framework and Educational Repository 🌿

The Green Heritage Community of Practice will hold its third webinar on 28 May, featuring Jelena Anđelković (IAB Serbia), Zrinka Mileusnić (University of Primorska, Slovenia), and Irena Lazar (University of Primorska, Slovenia). Sign up now and join the conversation!

The webinar will present the pedagogical approach developed within the GreenHeritage project — an innovative educational methodology that connects sustainability, environmental awareness, and cultural and natural heritage through active and participatory learning methods.

Special attention will be given to the online repository of educational materials, designed as a platform of resources and tools that supports interdisciplinary learning experiences for young people aged 13 to 18.

During the session, the speakers will share methodologies, digital resources, and pilot experiences developed collaboratively during the first 18 months of the project, highlighting the potential of heritage and environmental education in fostering green, digital, and social skills.

The webinar will also include an open discussion with participants, further strengthening the Community of Practice as a space for exchange among professionals, researchers, and stakeholders from the educational and cultural sectors interested in sustainability, heritage, and pedagogical innovation.
