We are proud to have officially opened the 11th edition of the LEADER Project in Serbia, 2026! 🇷🇸🤝🇨🇦

Through this internationally recognized program, developed by Ivey Business School at Western University , we continue to support the development of leadership and entrepreneurial skills among young professionals in Serbia. 🚀

This year, participants will engage in practical learning, collaborate with peers and mentors, and gain valuable global insights about entrepreneurship that will help shape their future careers. 🌍

✨ Meet Robbie, our 4th instructor for LEADER Project Serbia 2026! ✨

🎓 Robbie Morris just completed his MBA at Ivey Business School at Western University. He returned to get his masters after studying biomechanical engineering in undergrad and working in data analytics consulting.

🌍 Robbie has travelled to Europe, Australia, and the US, but is excited to explore the Balkans.

💼 His biggest accomplishment is that he has developed a start-up analytics company to the point where it was sold.

🌍 Ethan is an HBA1 student at the Ivey Business School at Western University, pursuing an Honours Business Administration degree, he also previously studied computer science. In addition to being a part of the LEADER project, Ethan is the president of the Ivey Case Competition Club and an avid soccer fan. He has a background in healthcare consulting, technology, and strategy, and will interning in consulting later this summer.

⛰️ Ethan has been to 4 continents and is excited to visit Serbia for the first time! His favourite experiences include hiking the mountains outside of Cape Town and exploring hot springs outside of Mt. Fuji.

💼 His biggest accomplishment is leading the Ivey Case Competition Club (ICCC), by getting to represent his school at international-level case competitions and fostering a tight-knit, supportive community of students passionate about case solving.

🥼 Ethan hopes to eventually pursue an entrepreneurial venture in the healthcare space, combining his passion for technology and business in a highly impactful sector.

🌟 Meet Stuart Morton, our second LEADER Project Serbia 2026 instructor!

✨ Stuart is an MBA student at the Ivey Business School at Western University in Ontario. He also has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Toronto Metropolitan University and an Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain and Operations Management from George Brown College. Prior to his MBA he worked in a wide variety of industries and roles, ranging from Automotive Photography to warehouse logistics to military communications to cybersecurity procurement. After finishing his MBA, he will be starting as a management consultant in Toronto. 💼

🌍 He has been to 27 countries, ranging from industrial Shenzhen, China, to the Arctic tundra in Canada’s north. His favourite trip so far was a business trip to a series of factories in China to discuss product development and manufacturing with suppliers for a Canadian toy company.

🏅 His biggest accomplishment is earning a military award for having the highest performance on his platoon during a training course.

🗓️ Danas obeležavamo jedan od najvažnijih datuma u našoj istoriji – dan kada su postavljeni temelji moderne srpske države.

🇷🇸 Na Sretenje 1804. godine održan je Zbor u Orašcu, kojim je započet Prvi srpski ustanak, borba za oslobođenje od osmanske vlasti i obnovu državnosti. Istog datuma, 1835. godine, donet je Sretenjski ustav - jedan od najmodernijih i najnaprednijih ustava u Evropi tog vremena.

🗓️ Today we commemorate one of the most important dates in our history – the day when the foundations of the modern Serbian state were laid.

🇷🇸 On February 15th 1804, the Assembly of Orašac was held, marking the start of the First Serbian Uprising, the movement for liberation from the Ottoman rule and the restoration of statehood. On the same date in 1835, the Sretenje Constitution was adopted - one of the most progressive constitutions in Europe at that time.

Embassy of Canada to Serbia hosted an inspiring reception celebrating the new Belgrade–Toronto direct flight — a milestone that strengthens business, economic, cultural, and diaspora connections.

“Direct flights are much more than a fantastic convenience. Someone can sit in their office in downtown Belgrade on Wednesday morning, enjoy a cup of domestic coffee while preparing for meetings, and already the next day hold important and successful business discussions in Toronto’s financial district — followed by a walk near Niagara Falls and a selfie next to the Canadian monument to Nikola Tesla.”
