La XXV Feria Internacional de Artesanía FIART 2023 tendrá lugar una vez más en el recinto ferial PABEXPO del 8 al 23 de diciembre en La , . El evento tendrá su apertura al público a partir del día 9 con el slogan “Arte, Utilidad y Oficio”, en el horario de 10:00 a.m. a 6:00 p.m., estará dedicada a la Guayabera como proyecto especial, a la República Bolivariana de como país invitado de honor.
La cita permitirá destacar el papel de las artesanías en los nuevos escenarios de desarrollo económico y social, y que al mismo tiempo, aporten valores utilitarios al imaginario colectivo.
Se entregarán premios en las categorías Reconocimiento por la Obra de la Vida y Premios Edición XXV en las Categorías Producto y Stand.
Durante esos días tendrá lugar una exposición de premios y condecoraciones otorgados por la UNESCO y el Consejo Mundial de Artesanía a la obra de artistas y creadores cubanos y la presencia del proyecto TELARTE de artistas de las artes plásticas. Además, estarán sucediendo en esos días acciones culturales destinadas a promover las producciones, líneas de negocios y los creadores, cuyo trabajo amerita una distinción desde el propio evento, utilizando pasarelas de modas, expoventas, rondas de negocios, evento teórico y otras actividades de índole artística, comercial y docente.
The XXV International Crafts Fair FIART 2023 will take place once again at the PABEXPO fairgrounds from December 8 to 23 in Havana, Cuba. The event will be open to the public starting on the 9th, with the motto “Art, Utility and Craft” and a schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., it will be dedicated to the Guayabera as a special project, and the Republic of Venezuela as the guest country of honor.
The event will highlight the role of crafts in the new scenarios of economic and social development, and at the same time will contribute utilitarian values to the collective imagination.
There will be awarded prizes in the categories Recognition for Life's Work and FIART XXV Edition Awards, in the Product and Stand Categories.
During those days there will be happening an exhibition of awards and distinctions that have been awarded by UNESCO and the World Crafts Council to the work of Cuban artists and creators, and also the presence of project TELARTE of plastic arts artists. In addition, there will be cultural actions aimed at promoting productions, business lines and creators, whose work deserves distinction from the event itself, will be taking place on those days, and using fashion catwalks, exhibitions, business rounds, theoretical events and other activities of artistic, commercial and teaching nature.
